Read/watched September-November

Been hustling teaching and working a contract engineering job, so I’m really letting this notebook of a site flounder. Picked up Auster in a little free library near Wright Park in Tacoma, late in the summer, and despite the fact that that I thought I was through my Auster phase years ago. I’ve been trying to read through accumulated books, which was why I pivoted to Price, and then finally got to Carpenter after having it my sights since reading Fat City months ago. Not sure what’s next but there are still plenty of books on the shelves that I’ve never touched: KSR, Lawrence, Joyce, Ben Marcus, Vandermeer, Jesmyn Ward, Bolaño, King, Bacigalupi, Proust, Wojnarowich – I think that’s what I’ll read now.

Auster, 4-3-2-1

Price, Clockers

Carpenter, Hard Rain Falling

The Chair

Ted Lasso

Better call Saul S5

Shang-Chi w/ son

Handful of Seinfeld episodes while folding laundry (never really watched it before)

X-files S1 episodes w/ daughter
