Tower separation anxiety

My favorite — and I mean that, sincerely — neoliberal enthusiast on tower separation anxiety and densification in Seattle. Some-post-dissertation-day I’m going to find the time to sit down with Mr. Valdez and talk about some of his ideas, because he is a patient critic of Seattle’s growing pains, a reader of philosophy, and a tireless advocate for a dense and sustainable city. But his faith in the free market, as I understand it, is baffling and fits neatly into the crosshairs of all the critical urban research with which I am familiar. I find this tension fascinating.
