The announcement for the Birckbeck Critical Theory Seminar is making the rounds on the geography listservs and in the blogosphere but i wanted to point out that it unfortunately coincides with the Deleuze Studies Conference and Camp in Istanbul. The camp includes seminars by Ronald Bogue and Ian Buchanan and covers abstract machines, war machines, and semiotics (full schedule here) and the conference itself will almost certainly feature keynotes by both these scholars, and if we’re lucky, folks like Eugene Holland.
