2030 Eighth Ave II

I just heard that demolition (of a beautiful old terra cotta-clad building) is underway for the new building at 2030 8th Ave, in the Denny Triangle neighborhood adjacent to SLU. And though I’m never a fan of building luxury units for the ruling class, I can at least appreciate the fact that this building doesn’t have a block-long podium. What you see on the same block is the Washington Talking Book and Braille Library and Seattle P.D.’s West Precinct.
